Happy Holidays 2018

Happy Holidays 2018

It’s hard to believe 2018 has come and gone. As we wrap another year, this is a great opportunity to reflect on what I’m most grateful for as president of Tallahassee Community College.

I’m grateful for our institution, the opportunity TCC provides for a better future for our students, and our legacy as one of the top two-year colleges in the nation. I am grateful for those that came before us and made us what we are today. I am grateful for the incredible faculty and staff that work hard each day to create a better future for our students. I’m grateful for the students themselves, who, regardless of their path here, chose TCC and enrich our campus and our professional lives in more ways than they could ever know.

Most of all, I’m grateful for our community and its steadfast support of TCC for more than a half century. Without the community, there wouldn’t be a community college. Unfortunately, our region has had to overcome its fair share of hardship in 2018. While there were many challenges and some truly devastating tragedies, from Hurricane Michael to the Hot Yoga shooting, through it all, I saw strength, generosity, compassion, resilience, and continued encouragement. I have never been more grateful to live and work here.

So from our TCC family to yours, happy holidays!
