Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day

Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day

Today is National Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day and I just want to take the opportunity to share my gratitude for our custodians here at Tallahassee Community College.

A campus is often a new student or visitor’s first impression of a college. Their feelings about the institution and whether or not they want to attend are directly influenced by their perceptions of the level of quality and cleanliness of the facilities.

Fortunately, we have one of the most beautiful main campuses in Florida, and amazing outlying locations as well. This is a credit to the army of people, including our custodial crew, who work hard each day to keep our nearly 2,000 acres and more than 1.3 million square feet of building space in good order.

I never take for granted the amount of effort it takes to keep things humming at TCC, and I am thankful to each and every one of our team members for ensuring we have a clean and safe place to learn and work.
