UFF-TCC and College Begin Talks on Third CBA

The first bargaining session to negotiate a third Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the United Faculty of Florida (UFF)-Tallahassee Community College and the College will be held on February 26, 2021.

The UFF-TCC chapter voted 107-6 to approve a CBA with the College on October 16, 2020. The TCC District Board of Trustees voted to approve the CBA at its regular monthly meeting on September 21, 2020.

The parties began negotiations for the contract on August 29, 2019, and a tentative agreement was reached in August 2020. The agreement was the second CBA in the College’s history. Trustees approved the first CBA on October 22, 2018.

The full-time faculty, counselors and librarians of TCC voted to unionize on August 4, 2016. TCC and the UFF began contract negotiations on the first CBA in September 2016.
