Open House

Learn about what the Center offers, including our new partnership with Veterans Florida.

TCC – Vet Florida program, Ignite, is designed to build awareness of the services available to veterans in Gadsden, Leon and Wakulla Counties who have made a decision to pursue their entrepreneurial passion with a vetted idea or who are already living out their dream of operating their own business for at least 1- 3 years.

The Ignite program includes a multitude of resources that range from information sessions, mentoring activities, workshops, a 9-week intensive program designed to aid in fast-tracking your business idea or growing your existing business.

Location: Richard W. & Karen B. Moore Veterans Success Center (CT Bldg., 2nd Floor)
Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Food will be provided by TCC student activity and service fees.

Interested in transferring to FAMU? Representatives from FAMU will be on campus to assist student veterans with questions/ concerns, share important transfer information and educational benefits, and for FAFSA assistance.

SPARK! Startup/ Small Business Mentoring

SPARK! Startup/ Small Business Mentoring

Participate in TCC Spark’s Startup/ Small Business/ Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program (VFEP) Mentoring at the Center for Innovation.

Looking to start your own business, or have a great startup idea? Get introduced to like-minded participants and mentors in the Tallahassee area to begin forming great business relationships. 

This monthly event will last about one hour, and you will be able to socialize and network before and after the event. The students and mentors may use the space in the Center for Innovation after the timed sessions are over, or arrange a meeting in the following week.

Catch TCC Wakulla Center’s Veterans’ Benefits Workshop on Thursday, November 16.

Two opportunities: 1 – 3 p.m. and 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Transitioning from military service to a college education comes with unique challenges. Join Wakulla County Veterans Services officer Harold Ross and TCC Workforce Development staff to learn how the Wakulla Center can help you forge a path to academic success!
