New Student Convocation celebrates the TCC community, its traditions and its opportunities for our students. It is our official welcome for all new students and marks the beginning of their collegiate journey. We hope you will join us in this campus-wide celebration of academic excellence.

8:30 – 9:45 a.m.: Check-In at the Lifetime Sports Complex & Resource Fair

10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Welcome to Eagle Nation

10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Transition for Students and Parents

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Pathways Presentation in FPAC

12:45 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Take Flight – TCC Experience (Lunch, Ice Cream Social, Games, Music, Resource Fair)

First Year Experience Speaker Series

Join Tallahassee Community College women’s basketball Coach Q Bedell for this year’s first FYE Speaker Series event. The Eagles won TCC’s first ever National Championship in March and Coach Q decided to write about his journey in his book “From Chumps to Champs.” Along with the talk, Coach Q will be signing free books for the first 25 event participants.
