Dear Graduates,

On behalf of the District Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff of Tallahassee Community College, I would like to congratulate you on your graduation.

While we are unable to hold our annual commencement ceremony this year to celebrate with you and your family and friends in person, we are no less proud of what you have achieved to reach this important milestone in your life. I commend you for the time and effort you have put forth as a student at TCC. Education requires great persistence, sometimes in the face of great obstacles, so this is your moment to enjoy your achievement.

Though the weeks and months to come may present you with great challenges, there will no doubt be opportunities as well. Many of you will launch a new career. For others, transfer to a four-year college or university is on the horizon. Whatever your plans, I encourage you to put your TCC education to good use. Share the talents that have been nurtured here to make your community a better place.

As you are now joining the ranks of our esteemed alumni, I hope you will also become an active member of the TCC Alumni and Friends Association. It’s a great way to stay connected and will offer many opportunities to re-invest your time and energy to help future students reach their own academic and career goals. Though you may be leaving our campus, remember that our doors will always be open to you.
