TCC Intranet

Good Afternoon,

Over the next 10 days, Information Technology will be transitioning the College from the current Faculty/Staff portal to the new TCC Intranet. The Intranet is already home to your department file shares (G: drive); it will also now house all of your content from the Faculty/Staff portal and provide some great new tools for collaboration and enhanced productivity.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The Faculty/Staff portal will remain available over the next 10 days, in order to allow time to explore the new Intranet and alert IT if there are items that are missing or out-of-date.  IT has been migrating content from the old portal to the new intranet over the past few months, but due to the time required to migrate content, there may be items that are out of date in the new Intranet, or missing altogether. If you find such an item, please send an email to webadministrator@tcc.fl.edu.
     
  • After a 10-day period, we will do one last migration of content to the new Intranet, based on items reported to webadministrator@tcc.fl.edu. The Faculty/Staff Portal will be unavailable after the close of business Friday, October 13, 2017, at which time we will begin the final migration of content to the new Intranet.
  • If you find other issues in the new Intranet, such as content not displaying correctly, access denied messages, or other errors, please also send an email to webadministrator@tcc.fl.edu. We will work through these issues as quickly as possible, but our first priority during this period will be missing or out-of-date items.
  • The structure of the new Intranet varies significantly from the old Faculty/Staff portal. The best place to start is the “My Sites” tab on the new Intranet. To help you find sites quickly, we have also provided a list of sites from the old portal, and their new location on the Intranet, available at https://www.tcc.fl.edu/inet/directory.
